Great owner operated small hotel. Marc is very genial and helpful. Room tidy and clean. Like access to kitchen area for tea in the morning. Marché Maisonneuve is close by and has delicious croissants, cheese, groceries. Circuit Électrique has easy to use DC fast chargers right at the market -awesome!

Nobody was there when we first arrived (during the usual check in time!) so we went into the City. When we came back later, nobody opended the door. So we had to call the owner and ask, if he could come and open the door to us. He seemed very confused and obviously he didn't even know we were coming! When he arrived at the B&B, after 30 minutes of waiting in the rain in front of the B&B, I told him, that his cat (why is there a cat living in a bed and breakfast, and the owner is living somewhere else?!) pooped on the floor. You could clearly see that from outside through the glassdoor. He just left us standing there without saying anything and came back with a sheet in his hands. He told us, that the B&b is overbooked and that we have to go somewhere else.He took us finally to a youth hostel, and told us something about how expensive the Hostel is for him and that he has to pay more for that and so on. Of course we didn't believe him, but wedidn't had the time and desire to discuss with him. But we can say for sure that the hostel was not equal to what we had booked in that bed and breakfast. We even had to wash our plates after the breakfast. That was not even close to what we have booked. At least we had a stay for the night. Keep away from this bed and breakfast and don't trust this host. He is unreliable and unfriendly.

To be clear, we did not stay at this location as our plans fell through. My review is about the service I received while inquiring by telephone about availability and how things worked. In speaking with the host, Marc, he was very generous with his time and sympathetic to our situation. He was able to accommodate our requests, even going the extra mile to ensure we would be comfortable. If you are considering this property, I recommend you call Marc and speak to him directly so he can help you the way he helped us.

Close to the metro Station in a quiet street. Marc is very helpful and friendly. Room is small but clean. We could ask Marc for everything. For me it was the second time staying at this place (I was here three years ago), and i`m sure to visti the place once more when I travel to Montreal

I booked a room here and when I arrived the person at the house told me he did not know about my booking. He made me stand at the door for almost 20 minutes while he himself organized the room. He also told me even though I had only booked one night, that I had to pay for two days in cleaning fees. and he repeatedly told me I had to pay in cash, which I didn't have. So he ended up accepting my card. I ended up paying almost 3 times what the quote on airbnb said. Horrible customer service to be honest. I was in a rush and it was winter and it was at night, I also had bags, so I basically had no choice.
